The debut album from Ariana Grande has topped the album charts this week.
The Nickelodeon actress-turned-singer clinched the number one spot on the Billboard after selling 138,000 copies of Yours Truly in the album's first week out.
Ariana's strong start makes her the first female artist since 2010 to see her first album debut at number one. The last woman to do so was Ke$ha with Animal. "Billboard" notes that 78% of Ariana's album sales this week were digital.
Yours Truly includes the singer's hit single "The Way," featuring Mac Miller. The track peaked at number ten on the Hot 100.
Ariana is managed by Scooter Braun, the man behind Justin Bieber's success. She was also an opening act on the pop star's "Believe" tour this year.
The 20-year-old thanked fans for helping her get to number one on Twitter, saying she "can't even begin to express [her] gratitude" and that it "really means the world."
