First. Who still steals cars anymore? That is such a crime of the 90's. I've never been a criminal or anything like that, but I do know that if I stolen a car - I wouldn't take it to my COURT DATE! duh.
Anyway...
Police say that 25 year old Jonathan Rivera was at the Hartford Superior Court to appear before a judge on a charge of first-degree larceny and tampering with a motor vehicle from February. This isn't even the crazy part. Parking attendants were out and about doing their job and scanning licensing plates and found that the car he came to court in was stolen.
Police watched the car and arrested Rivera when he got in the car and tried to drive away.
What an idiot!!!!
